প্রাক- প্রাথমিকে নতুন করে আরও ২৬ হাজারের বেশি শিক্ষক নিয়োগের সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছে প্রাথমিক ও গণশিক্ষা মন্ত্রণালয়। সরকারি প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয়ে প্রাক-প্রাথমিক পর্যায়ে এসব শিক্ষকদের নিয়োগ দেয়া হবে। চলতি বছর মার্চে নিয়োগ বিজ্ঞপ্তি প্রকাশ হবে। এ নিয়োগ থেকে নারীদের শিক্ষাগত যোগ্যতা স্নাতক বা ডিগ্রি পাস কার্যকর করা হবে। জানা গেছে, সারাদেশে সরকারি প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয়ে প্রাক-প্রাথমিক শিক্ষক নিয়োগের সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছে প্রাথমিক ও গণশিক্ষা মন্ত্রণালয়।
এ ধাপে ২৬ হাজার ৩৬৬ শিক্ষক নিয়োগ দেয়া হবে। ফলে প্রতিটি বিদ্যালয়ে একজন করে শিক্ষক নিয়োগ পাবেন। এ নিয়োগ কার্যক্রম থেকে সরকারি প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয়ে শিক্ষক নিয়োগে নারী-পুরুষ উভয়ক্ষেত্রে শিক্ষাগত যোগ্যতা স্নাতক বা ডিগ্রি পাস বাধ্যতামূলক।

বিষয়টি নিশ্চিত করে প্রাথমিক ও গণশিক্ষা মন্ত্রণালয়ের অতিরিক্ত সচিব (বিদ্যালয়) মো. বদরুল হাসান বাবুল বলেন, প্রাথমিকে সহকারী শিক্ষক নিয়োগ কার্যক্রম শেষে মার্চে প্রাক-প্রাথমিক পর্যায়ে ২৬ হাজার ৩৬৬ শিক্ষক নিয়োগ কার্যক্রম শুরু হবে। মার্চের মাঝামাঝি এ নিয়োগের বিজ্ঞপ্তি প্রকাশের সিদ্ধান্ত হয়েছে।
অতিরিক্ত সচিব বলেন, দেশের ৬৫ হাজার সরকারি প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয়ে প্রাক-প্রাথমিক শিক্ষক নিয়োগ দেয়ার সিদ্ধান্ত হয়েছে। সেই আলোকে প্রথম ধাপে এ স্তরে ২৬ হাজারের বেশি নিয়োগ দেয়া হবে। প্রাথমিক ও গণশিক্ষা মন্ত্রণালয় থেকে পদ সৃজনের প্রস্তাব জনপ্রশাসন মন্ত্রণালয় থেকে সচিব কমিটিতে পাঠানো হয়েছে।
সেখান থেকে অনুমোদন হওয়ার পর তা মন্ত্রিপরিষদ সভায় পাঠানো হবে। অনুমোদন সংক্রান্ত কার্যক্রম ফেব্রুয়ারীর মধ্যে শেষ হবে। মার্চে নিয়োগ বিজ্ঞপ্তি প্রকাশ করা হবে। পর্যায়ক্রমে দেশের সব প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয়ে প্রাক-প্রাথমিক শিক্ষকের পদ সৃজন করে নিয়োগ দেয়া হবে। News Source: Jugantor
